Professional Opener Installation — Everything Done Right
We handle the complete installation from start to finish — and we stay until every remote is programmed, the app is connected, and the door passes the auto-reverse safety test. That’s what a professional installation includes.
What’s Included in Every Installation:
Full opener installation including rail, trolley, drive mechanism, safety sensors, and wall button.
Both remotes fully paired, tested at full range, and confirmed working before we leave.
Exterior wireless keypad installed, your chosen PIN programmed and tested.
Your car’s built-in HomeLink button programmed to your new opener — we handle it on-site.
For Wi-Fi openers: full myQ or brand app setup, account creation, and smartphone connection verified.
Opening and closing force set to your door’s exact weight. Travel limits calibrated precisely.
The opener must reverse before hitting a 1.5″ obstruction. Verified before we leave.
We remove and haul away your old opener, rail, and hardware. Nothing left behind.
Types of Openers We Install
Chain Drive
Metal chain lifts the door — reliable, strong, and budget-friendly. More noise than belt, perfect for detached garages.
Belt Drive
Rubber belt instead of chain — dramatically quieter and smoother. The right choice for attached garages where noise travels into the home.
Smart Wi-Fi Opener
Control, monitor, and automate your garage from anywhere. Real-time alerts, auto-close scheduling, and smart home integration.
Battery Backup
Keeps your opener working during power outages. Broward averages 70+ outages per year. Built into select models or added to existing.
Our Installation Process
Consult & Select
You tell us your door size, ceiling clearance, and features you want. We recommend the right opener at the right price — over the phone or in person.
Garage Assessment
We check ceiling height, header clearance, existing wiring, and door balance before installing. An unbalanced door will wear out any opener prematurely.
Old Opener Removal
We disconnect, disassemble, and remove the old unit, rail, and hardware. Everything gets hauled away. Ceiling cleared for the new system.
Professional Install
Rail mounted and anchored, trolley and drive installed, motor unit hung, safety sensors wired and positioned. All manufacturer specs followed.
Calibrate & Test
Force settings adjusted for your door’s exact weight, travel limits set, auto-reverse test passed with 1.5″ obstruction — no exceptions.
Program & Walk Through
All remotes, keypad, HomeLink, and smart app programmed and tested. Full walkthrough before we leave. 1-year workmanship warranty provided.
Why Choose Us for Opener Installation?
🔨 Every Remote Programmed. Every Feature Set Up. Before We Leave.
“A lot of installers hang the opener and hand you the remote. We stay until remotes, keypad, HomeLink, and app are all working. That’s what ‘fully installed’ means.”

WHAT HOMEOWNERS SAY ABOUT OUR INSTALLER
Installation Questions Answered
How long does garage door opener installation take?
Most installations are completed in 2–3 hours — including old opener removal, new unit installation, rail mounting, sensor wiring, and full programming. We arrive with everything needed and complete the job in a single visit.
Can I install a garage door opener myself?
Technically possible for a capable DIYer, but not recommended. The risks include: incorrect force settings that can injure someone, faulty sensor alignment that won’t trigger auto-reverse, improper header bracket installation, and voiding the manufacturer’s warranty. Professional installation starts at $350 and includes everything working correctly and safely from day one.
Will a new opener work with my existing garage door?
In almost all cases, yes. The main things we check: ceiling clearance (minimum 2” above door top), header room for the bracket, and that your door is properly balanced. We assess all of this during installation — if your door needs attention first, we’ll let you know and quote it separately.
How much does opener installation cost?
Chain drive: $350–$450. Belt drive: $400–$550. Smart Wi-Fi opener: $450–$650. Battery backup add-on: $100–$200. All pricing includes the opener unit, hardware, installation, and full programming. Old opener removal included. Free estimate with no obligation.
What programming is included with installation?
Everything: 2 remotes paired and tested, exterior wireless keypad installed and PIN programmed, HomeLink car button programmed, and for Wi-Fi openers, full smart app setup including account creation and smartphone connection. We test the wall button and confirm auto-reverse function before we leave.
